HBA Garage Door, LLC sells, installs and services garage doors and openers from our base in Somonauk, Illinois. We install Clopay® garage doors for homes and commercial overhead doors for businesses, and we service all of northern Illinois. Every Clopay door is made to order, so you can choose the size, style and finish that fit your building.

Installing Your New Door

For Your Home

When you replace a garage door, we start with exact measurements of your opening, then install the door, tracks and hardware. Professional garage door installation keeps everything aligned and supports warranty coverage. If a car bumps your current door, we can often replace just the damaged sections, as long as that section is still manufactured.

For Your Business

We carry a full line of commercial garage doors and openers. Clopay sectional doors come in steel and aluminum, and Energy Series options add insulation designed to reduce heating and cooling costs. Tell us your opening size and how the door will be used, and we will help you select a configuration that meets your specifications.

Finding the Right Style for Your Home

Homes around Somonauk range from farmhouses on rural lots to lake homes in communities like Lake Holiday. Clopay makes styles that can complement each of them, so you can choose the look you like best.

Gallery® Steel doors have grooved panels in short or long designs and suit traditional, modern and farmhouse exteriors. You can choose from multiple standard colors, including Ultra-Grain® wood-look finishes. Coachman® doors bring a swing-out carriage house appearance with overhead convenience, using 4-layer construction and a woodgrain-textured composite overlay over steel.

Canyon Ridge® 5-layer doors add composite overlays molded from real wood boards, so you get the grain of Clear Cypress or Mahogany with low maintenance. For a contemporary exterior, Modern Steel™ doors have a sleek designed look, and Avante® aluminum and glass doors let you control light and privacy, from clear glass to frosted and tinted panels. Color Blast® custom finishes are available on several styles.

Many Clopay doors also offer insulation. Gallery Steel doors come with Intellicore® polyurethane or polystyrene insulation and R-value ratings from 6.5 to 18.4. A higher rating means lower heat transfer through the door. In an attached garage, insulation helps minimize temperature fluctuations through northern Illinois winters, and it supports energy efficiency.

See the Door on Your House First

The EZDoor™ design tool lets you upload a photo of your home and try different Clopay styles, panel designs, windows, hardware and finishes. Save your design and share it with us, and we can prepare a quote for the door you built.

Garage Door Openers

We specialize in installing LiftMaster® garage door openers. Our residential line includes models with battery backup and Wi-Fi operation. Chain drive openers pair well with heavier doors, while belt drive openers are quieter and work better with lightweight doors.

Repairs When You Need Them

We handle garage door repair and emergency calls, including broken springs, stuck doors and unresponsive openers. The springs do the heavy lifting, while the opener only guides the door open and closed. When a spring snaps, the door becomes extremely heavy or impossible to move, so we recommend professional repair. If your opener acts up, our technicians diagnose that specific opener and explain your options for repair or replacement.
