I was looking for an installer of Clopay products in my area, and Doorman’s perfect 5-star rating got me intrigued. Now that my new door is installed, I am happy to add to their score! There is nothing I wish they would have done better or differently. It was time to upgrade our 1950’s garage door, but we wanted a door design that would complement the unique style of the house. We also wanted to maximize the height of the door within our limited 7’4” garage ceiling height. We didn’t want an opener installed and I wanted to remove the old door and prepare the new opening trim myself. I would not have been surprised if they had walked away after this intro, but no. They respected and accommodated my perfectionist homeowner requests, providing options to help me decide on the right product and spec. They answered every one of my many (many many) questions patiently and in detail, either by email or during a 1+ hour on-site visit. Communication was always prompt and clear, their pricing was fair and transparent, scheduling (and rescheduling) was flexible and very simple. The installation was fast and clean, and the end result is as good as I hoped it would be.
